Cropper's Getaway News

Plans are being finalized for the November 4th, 5th, and 6th event.  Here are more of the class descriptions:

Heidi Swapp Inspirations
Come let us entice the newcomers and excite the experienced with Heidi Swapp's innovative supplies.  Her goal is to give us products that make scrapbooking quicker and easier for everyone, no matter the skill level.  We will be using chipboard products, rub-ons, tools,  iron-ons, attachments (brads, clips, etc.) and more to embellish a Heidi Swapp chipboard frame.  Come join the FUN!!!

Junkitz Harvest Embellishment Blocks
Fall will be coming to a close, and it will be the perfect time to honor your favorite Autumn moments with these meticulously crafted, evocative embellishment blocks.  In this class you will get to experiment with zippers, zipper pullz, ringz, buttonz, trimz, labelz, bucklez, bradz, and more.  You will make five embellishment blocks that can be used for cards or  scrapbook pages.  Best of all this class will be taught by Shannon Taylor who is on the Junkitz Design Team this year and also created these wonderful blocks.  Heather Preckel will be teaching the class with Shannon.  Both of these ladies are well-known in the scrapbooking community for all their beautiful pages which have been published in all the magazines.  These ladies are both in the 2005 Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame magazine.  Heather has been on design teams for Carolees Creations, Chatterbox, Junkitz, and more.  Shannon is on or has been on design teams for Junkitz, Rusty Pickle, and more.  You won't want to miss this great class being taught by two very talented ladies.

Technique Tuesday 101 Class
Have you ever wanted to experiment with clear acrylic stamps?  Stamping can sound intimidating; but in this class you will use stamps to make a card, stamp on transparencies, and learn lots of other unique stamping techniques.  Technique Tuesday offers stamps that are made by scrapbookers for scrapbookers--so this means they are proportioned to work on scrapbook pages not just on cards or other projects.  This class will be taught by Rose Andrews from Knoxville, Tennessee.   She is a scrapbook rep for the Riddell Group and is a very talented lady with lots of scrapbook experience.  Come learn lots of new stamping techniques using Technique Tuesday stamps!!!

More class descriptions to follow in a few days.  We are still receiving information from other teachers who are coming from out of town and we are finalizing times and descriptions.  Just keep watching and don't forget to register soon as these great classes will be limited in size.  If you register early, I can still juggle the schedule and may be able to repeat some of the more popular classes and save some of the less popular for another time.

This is just a few of the great classes we will be having at the Cropper's Getaway.  More details to follow soon.  A completed schedule with times and dates will be ready by September 7, 2005.  Please be sure to sign up soon so you will be able to get the days you are interested in.
